I did not answer. Then checkex online who called me. One oc the answer was Ulster bank. Then next day in a branch bank I was asked to confirm my bank acvount as l diled in an online money cash order wrong b.accojnt number. They wanted to confirm by call.

When I answered the call, the girl on it seemed general enough. The weird thing was that she knew what went into my bank account and told me my BIC no. Then she said that if I don’t use this, my wages won’t go into my bank account again next month. I rang up Ulster Bank and they said that I had no call history from them....

I was called and I answered and said hello, they instantly hanged up. Stay aware, I went to the bank today to open an account and they gave me an appointment for tomorrow. I am not even a customer yet, they called my friend and said they need to speak to me and sounded very trust worthy but are not. Very strange that I answer and they instantly hanged up.

Most here are saying it's Ulster Bank, and while I didn't answer (short rings, 3 times) after it stopped calling I did get a text confirmation from UB about my PIN issue, so I would believe the calls are them.

You cannot call it back. It is not a scam just how they protect their phone numbers so that their customers cannot bother them (amazingly helpful). Ulster Bank is owned by Royal Bank of Scotland

Lady phoned saying that she was from the Royal Bank of Scotland. She had a badly disguised Chinese Asian accent trying to portray itself as English, which raised suspicion immediately. She said she was calling from the royal bank of Scotland, when I said I had no dealings with the Royal bank of Scotland, the line went dead. This lead me to believe that it was some sort of scam call.

Centralised CLI for Ulster Bank. It is legitimate call. Was my branch banker following up on some information for mortgage. They immediately emailed me after the missed call stating it was them who tried to call from that number. Don't listen to the people stating it is a scam number. They are simply mistaken.
