Just rang through but I don't answer numbers I don't know from other countries, but immediately checked on this website who it was and then was given an e-mail instantaneously afterwards about Paypals master card. Checked my paypal as well, and everything's fine so must have been marketing.

the number is for webinterprit - a company who work with eBay to translate listings for international markets. I have used them in the past for ebay listings

A phishing scam confirmed by PayPal (Scam call) reported by 86.131.46.xxx
I got the call. They say they're from PayPal, offering European marketing services, saying they put an option for pricing in all foreign currencies on your website, all sounds legit, I fell for it at first, said I was interested. Then they said they could handle shipping too! that's when alarm bells rang in my head. I phoned PayPal to check and guess what, they're not legit! They emailed me too, and their emails end in @paypal.com, again all looks legit, so I forwarded these to PayPal and I've been told by PayPal it's a phishing scam. Now I can't stop the phone calls! And the calls now come through as "Unavailable" so I can't spam box their number

They are from PayPal but pretty aggressive in sales.

I get these calls too. Say they're from PayPal, all sounds legit. I phoned PayPal to check and guess what, they're not! They email me too, and their emails ens in @paypal.com all looks legit, so I forward these to PayPal and I've been told it's a phishing scam!

Someone called us from this number in Ireland and said they were 'Paypal', and that we should be opening up our website to the European market by using facilities that Paypal can provide. Sounded dodgy. When we called back the number they answered it as if they were Paypal. Still sounded dodgy. Googling the number only brought up this page/site that you're looking at now. We called Paypal directly using the official number from their website and they confirmed that it was a scam and that Paypal had not tried to contact us by phone, and that they don't make contact that way. We gave them the number to follow up on.
