I received a call from a person claiming to be from Vodafone offering me an extra 2gb of data with my current plan. Her name was Morgan. This person was able to read my entire call history. I thought Vodafone needed permission to read your personal call history. Trying to get my bank details numerous times and I said no.

Same here. And i made the mistake to confirm my age and my address. And then I stopped. He had info about my phone plan so i thought it was genuine. And then I thought this seems not right. And i did not go along with his super phone plan because i knew he would be looking for my bank details and insisted that it's a one time offer. Just be careful people.

This is simply Vodafone agents trying to sign you up if you are out of contract. I'm not saying you should bother answering it, but the down right stupid responses below, just goes to show how thick some people are. They simply want to offer you a better deal to get you locked back into a contract.

A woman with a Northern accent claimed to be from Vodafone loyalty services.Told me as a good customer of vodafone she could get me a better deal and asked me how many phone calls I make. said I only use my phone for wifi and the call went silent. She said thanks and that was the end of that. A few days previous a call from the same number and the guy also said he was Vodafone, he wanted me to confirm my DOB and address, I said no thanks, you should have them, told him I was busy now and couldn't talk and he said ok so he hung up.
