Tried to get personal information that could be used for identity theft. Asked for password, when I said I didnt have it, wanted Mother maiden name. When I said I would not give over the phone, pressured. When I confirmed x3 that I would not give, they ended the call. Shady shady shady.

Missed the call, I called back voicemail saying it was Sky and that someone from one of there departments had tried to call. No other options, call disconnected. I do have Sky so seems legit.

They ask for the last 4 digits of my credit card so that they can verify the account. However how do I know they are Sky? Seems geniune, but in this day and age, they should not be doing telemarketing/up selling in this way. Best thing is to tell them that you will not accept this type of communciation and that they should trun it off for you account. This is your right as a customer, to be able to control the ways a compnay communcates with your about its services etc

Rang, said they were from Sky and confirmed name and address then asked for password to my sky account. Explained I would never give password to anyone and surprised he asked. It this is a legit Sky call, the number is associated with Sky Ireland, they need to review their policy of cold calling and asking for passwords. I do not believe this was malicious but I still would not disclose a password even if asked

Caused my elderly mother to be scared thinking it was scam call (Unsolicited call) reported by


Elderly lady felt she had been tricked into giving last 4 digits of her IBAN. Girl then rang off without further explanation. On ringing number back Sky confirmed it was from them and said girl closed called accidentally. Mother was not convinced and is still fearful that it was a scam call. Very poor call SKY!

They obviously use Auto-Diallers in this call centre because when I blocked the number it showed on my phone they tried to call 6 times one day. Unblocked and waited for a call. Answered, tried to get me back on sky, told them for the 10000th time I physically can't avail of their service, they'll end up trying to call again.

Read other reviews and my call was the same. Ringing during business hours(9am-6pm), sometimes 3 times a day and also on Saturday. I rang the number back and an automated voice said a person from Sky tried to contact me. I have just left Sky, so I suppose it's expected that they would try to lure a customer back.
