Possibly warbling voice due to poor IP connection but I could not hear anyone at the end of the day. I just put my mic on mute and they hung up after a few minutes.

Called me few times. Picked up once. Was a woman with an Indian accent saying they are from Vodafone and asked me some personal information. I said I do not want to share that information over the phone and that I will go to my local Vodafone centre and see what's up and they hung up. Still keeps calling me few times a month but I just blocked it.

I had the exact same experience as Detective Me, I was initially unsure if this was a scam so these scammers really seem to have stepped up their game recently

This is the number: (1) 252 8641 called me today. I think it was an Indian gypsy man talking on the phone and I think it must have been something psychotic. I think he was insane based on what he said. He was talking about some “Caste System” that exists in India and he and his father, who is also his wife (he actually said that he has a father who is also his wife in India), are in a lot of trouble in India, because of the Caste System: ... they have to eat dead human flesh, which is stolen from graveyards! He then asked me if I could transfer money to his father via "MoneyGram". He wanted to say some more insane things, but I hung up the phone. I don't talk to psychos. Everyone better be careful with this phone number, it's some kind of huge financial scam!!!

Got a call from this number, answered, spoke to a nice man that confirmed the nickname I had added as my real name on my Vodafone account but changed last year(so their information is old) he asked if he could record the call, I agreed. He then sent a text message to my phone from Vodafone to confirm that I was really speaking to them(never done by the actual company). This can be faked very easily and comes up as Vodafone. Not Vodafone's fault, just how their program works. Then he asked me to confirm my own details (I worked for both Eflow, Meteor and Eir a few years ago doing these cold calls and the operator is supposed to confirm the information they have first and the person receiving the call is supposed to confirm that information.) I ended the call at that point, then received a call from the same nice man from a different number +353 1 203 7800. The number is different as the virtual dialer they use to call out resets every time.

Woman who said she was from Vodafone (Madeleine?), not Irish accent. I thought it was a survey so said I couldn't talk and she just asked if there was anything she could do and cited the Vodafone help number. Seemed suspicious. Line initally had beeps etc and when I asked who it was she said she was from vodafone and asked if it was myfirstname.

Male voice called with an offer for Vodafone. My work mobile is Vodafone and I have no contract with them personally so i was suspicious straight away. Asked my name and DOB. I gave fake information and was never pulled on this so called him out on it. Any time is asked him a question he just stated GDPR as the reason he could not answer. I asked him to name the company that the number was registered to and he could not. Asked him to send a verification mail to my email address which id did not give him. Said he could not due to systems permission. Hung up. Checked this with Vodafone customer support and this is not one of their numbers. Don't answer
