Dont answer! Called saying they're from Vodafone asking if I was so and so(the name on my account which isn't my real name. It was a real person on the phone, Indian I'm guessing) I said yes, they went on about Vodafone bill or something for pre pay, I'm pay as you go, I went into my room and tapped my fella on the shoulder he said "what" and then the guy on the phone just hung up, assuming he was gonna try make me give him my details if my boyfriend didn't say anything that time.

The caller, Mohammed, asked for me by name (my husband answered the call). Asked how I was....nicely, told me he would record the call for training purposes and was that OK, and stupidly I said yes. I remembered I should never reply YES as they can edit recordings to sound like I accepted some offer! He then asked me to verify my name, account number and date of birth. I told him I don't give that over the phone and I wished to end the call. I then hung up. Beware...even if from Vodafone as he said, they can pull something on you.

They wanted me to confirm my dob and email before discussing broadband offer. I asked just to say what the offer was but she wouldn't discuss. Sent me a text to my phone to say it was vodafone but still felt uncomfortable discussing it. I hung up.
