Vodafone Telemarketer - asks for PIN(refused) - asks for DOB(refused) - politely disconnects. Very Fishy. If you want to sell something - there is absolutely no need to verify identity of customer before providing details of what is on sale.

The line was not very clear but the person was courteous He asked did I mind that the conversation was recorded, which I agreed with He then mentioned a TV and broadband services, but said that before we we continue, he needs my access PIN code. I said I am not going to do that, and then he offered to use SMS, and again I said I am not comfortable doing that. He then promptly and in a nice way said "no problem, please call 1907 customer care"

NOT a scam call. It is legitimately Vodafone -- but they are just asking can they upsell you to a higher cost plan. The verification at the start seems strange, but I was very careful to ask them for more information than I gave and they certainly had all my details. Still though, bit of a nuisance...

I’ve been getting a call from this number, three times. I didn’t answer the first three calls because I did not recognise the number. But I did answer the fourth call from this number to end my curiosity and to find out why the persistence once and for all. I knew someone was on the other side when I eventually accepted the call but the caller did not engage. What is this all about????

Someone called me from this number. They said that they first needed to confirm my identity and they wanted me to confirm some personal details. In other words tell them some person details. I told them that I didn't trust them, and asked them to tell me what they know. They would not tell me anything, so I said If they dont trust me how could I trust them, and then the call ended. Honestly I don know if it was vodafone or not, but I suspect it was a scam.

All quiet for a few months, now suddenly they are calling once or twice a day every day from this number. I have blocked it, but it's still annoying.
